Prepare Nails:
- Clean, shape, and lightly buff your natural nails to remove any shine.
- Push back cuticles and clean nails with a lint-free wipe soaked in nail cleanser or alcohol.
Apply pH Bonder (Optional):
- For enhanced adhesion, apply a pH bonder to your natural nails and let it air dry.
Apply Acid-Free Gel Primer (Optional):
- Apply a thin layer of acid-free gel primer to each nail to further enhance adhesion.
Apply Extend Gel to Natural Nails:
- Apply a thin layer of APRÉS Extend Gel to your natural nails.
- Cure under an LED lamp for 30 seconds or a UV lamp for 1-2 minutes.
Apply Extend Gel to Gel-X Tips:
- Apply a small amount of Extend Gel to the underside of the Gel-X tip.
Attach the Tips:
- Place the Gel-X tip onto your natural nail at a 45-degree angle, starting at the cuticle and pressing down to eliminate air bubbles.
- Hold the tip in place and cure under the LED/UV lamp for 10-30 seconds to flash-cure.
Full Cure:
- Once all tips are applied and flash-cured, cure the nails under the LED lamp for 30 seconds or the UV lamp for 1-2 minutes to ensure the Extend Gel is fully cured.
Shape and Smooth:
- Gently file and shape the edges of the tips as needed.
- Buff the surface lightly if necessary to smooth out any unevenness.
Finish:
- Apply a layer of gel top coat to seal and add shine to your nails.
- Cure under the LED lamp for 30 seconds or the UV lamp for 1-2 minutes.
- Cleanse the nails with a lint-free wipe soaked in nail cleanser or alcohol to remove any sticky residue.
- Apply cuticle oil to nourish and hydrate the cuticles.
