- Plug the power adapter into the control box and then into a power outlet.
- Attach the handpiece securely to the control box by aligning the connector and plugging it into the appropriate port.
-
Turn on the Device:
- Switch the power button on the control box to the "On" position.
- Use the speed dial or buttons on the control box to adjust the RPM (Revolutions Per Minute) according to your preferred speed. Start at a lower speed to get comfortable with the device.
-
Select the Desired Bit:
- Choose the appropriate drill bit based on your service (e.g., prepping nails, smoothing, shaping).
- Insert the bit into the handpiece by loosening the chuck (rotating the middle section of the handpiece), inserting the bit, and tightening it by rotating the chuck back.
-
Operating the Handpiece:
- Hold the handpiece comfortably in your hand, ensuring a steady grip.
- Begin working on the nails, applying gentle pressure. Use the handpiece to perform tasks such as shaping, buffing, removing gel or acrylic, and preparing the nail surface.
- Adjust the speed on the control box as needed, based on the type of work you're performing.
-
Forward and Reverse Modes:
- Depending on whether you're working on the left or right hand (or if you're left-handed), use the forward/reverse button to change the rotation direction of the handpiece.
- Ensure the handpiece is stopped before changing the direction to avoid damaging the motor.
-
Safety and Comfort:
- Use light pressure to avoid damaging the nail plate.
- Periodically check the bit and handpiece for any signs of overheating. If it feels too hot, stop and let the handpiece cool down.
-
Finishing and Storage:
- Once you're done, turn off the device using the power button on the control box.
- Remove and clean the bit, then store it safely for future use.
- Unplug the device and store the control box and handpiece in a clean, dry location.
